How to get to Pema Guest House ?

  • From Kathmandu : 5 min walk from the Gongabu bus station. There is a different bus stop called Machha Pokhari (ask anybody on street where Machha Pokhari ticket counter is). There is a bus to Langtang Valley, leaves at 6.00 a.m. and it’s final destination Timure. The ride will take about 7 hours, and you should ask to get off in Lingling. The entry fee of the Langtang National Park entry reserve is 3000 Nepali rupees. From Lingling there is a mountain trail and the hike will take around 2 and 2.30 hours walking to reach Pema guest house. Moreover, you have also the option, in the bus stop Machha Pokhari, to buy a ticket for a jeep in order to go directly to Bridhim. The jeep name is Tata Sumo ticket. Don’t hesitate to ask peoples on street.
  • From Syabrubesi : you can take a nature trail to Bridhim, and it will take 3 to 4 hours of walk to get Pema Guest House.
  • From Langtang Valley trek : If you are in Langtang Valley Trek and you are in Lama Hotel, Remache, or Sherpagon, I could take approximately 1 day walk to get to Pema Guest House
  • From Tamang Heritage Trail : If you are in Tamang Heritage trail/trek, you can come from Nagthali or Thuman to Bridhim in approximately 1 day walking trail to reach Pema Guest House.
  • From Timure/Rasuwagadi (Tibetan border) : If you are in the Tibetan border, you can reach Bridhim in 4-5 hours walking and arrive in Pema Guest House.
  • From Gosakunda trek : If you are in the Gosaikunda trek and in Thulo Syabru village, It would take 1 day (6 hours wald) to reach our Pema Guest House in Bridhim village.

My plan was to stay there a couple of days and then go trekking: Dawa is a licensed trekking guide and their village, Briddhim, is on the Tamang Heritage trail! That was the plan…but it was before I tasted Neemas food 😉
